Senate Leader Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) appointed Sen. Steve Jarvis (R-Davidson County) to eight committees for the 2025-26 legislative biennium. Additionally, Sen. Jarvis was tapped to serve as the Co-Chair of the Regulatory Reform Committee.
A female was rescued from a vehicle at a residence on Bald Cypress Rd. with multiple gun shoot wounds, her conditions are not known at this time. We can confirm at this time that no one in the area is in danger.
