The event takes place Saturday, June 7, from 12 to 5 p.m. at 900 Dixie Street in Lexington, in the open field across from Files Chapel Baptist Church. This gathering will include music, vendors, food trucks, entertainment, gaming, a memorial vigil, and community giveaways.
This event offers more than just music, food, and fun—it creates a meaningful space for reflection, healing, and connection. Whether you've lost someone to violence, illness, or the passage of time, we invite you to join us in celebrating their memory as part of this day of unity. Together, we can uplift their stories and hold space for both joy and remembrance in our community.
Each month Bereavement Counselor Emily Sullivan, LCMHCA, facilitates group discussion and reflection on personal experiences of love, loss, peace, hope, and healing. The monthly support qroup is open to all community members age 18 and over. Your loved one did not need to be a HODC patient in order to attend.
A free Community Health and Wellness Retreat is planned for Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bull City Ciderworks located at 599 South Railroad Street in Lexington, N.C.This event is open to the public, offering a day full of wellness activities, fun and community connections for the entire family.
