Press Release: Lexington Civitan Club revamps

There are two Interest Meetings for the revamping of a new Civitan Club in Lexington.
They are scheduled for April 7, 12:00 and April 28, 5:30. Both of these meetings will be
at the Barbeque Center. There used to be two Civitan Clubs in Lexington. The
Lexington Civitan Club and the Central Carolina Club. If you were a member of either
these two clubs, please come and join us.

Laura Baker with the Lexington Chamber will be there. Laura will tell us how the
Chamber can help.

Civitan is an International Service Club whose mission is helping individuals with
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Your club can help these individuals as well
as any need in the Community. Your club can choose it’s on fundraiser and service
project.

Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age an older.
Please come and join us.
