What if
We have promises from God’s Word, that we should throw in the face of our “what’s if’s.”If you find yourself facing a what if, remind yourself that God keeps his promises. If there are times when we find ourselves going through a stage of what if, trust God. When we find the troubles of the world coming to our doorstep, what if we take confidence in knowing that God will take care of us.
As believers we must always pray as well as say,
“Yet will I rejoice in the Lord.”
Rejoice always for the Lord is our strength and our joy.
Now therefore let us replace what if’s with what is.
The Word of God teaches in the book of Psalm 34:4,
“I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.”
The Scriptures teach us, “If you love me, keep my commands.” John 14:15
In this season there may be a lot of what if’s.
Questions such as, what if the grocery prices continue to rise? What if we can no longer afford medical care? What if the cost of living increases?
What if the job market crashes?
What if the what if’s becomes overwhelming.
There is good news. God is our light in darkness.
God is our source, therefore we do not have to worry about what if’s. We never have to worry what if God loves us, for we know our Creator is Love and God knows our heart.
At the sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us not to worry. A lot of our what if’s arrive out of worry. Therefore always seek the Kingdom and all his righteousness and glory.
Each day has enough troubles of its own. What if we keep calm and keep our eyes on the Kingdom.
What if we live by the golden rule,”Treat one another the way you would like to be treated”?
What if we loved our neighbors as ourselves?
What if we practice being respectful and kind to others?
What if we try the Spirit by the Spirit to see if it is of God?
What if we lend a helping hand to our neighbors?
What if we learn to smile, because we know a smile can be contagious?
What if we walk by faith and not by sight?
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember, what if we stop borrowing future troubles. What if we start living with a new perspective and enjoy living a peaceful life?
God’s faithfulness remains constant no matter what comes our way.
What if we Love God as much as he Loves us?
May God Richly Bless!
