High Rock Lake Clean Sweep is an annual cleanup on High Rock Lake. The sweep collected an estimated three tons of trash from both Davidson and Rowan County on Saturday, Sept. 18. Trash drop-off sites include Southmont Wildlife Boat Access (Davidson County) and Second Dutch Creek Wildlife Boat Access (Rowan County.).
Davidson County’s first “Creek Week” is off to a whirling start, according to organizers with Keep Davidson County Beautiful, Davidson County Commissioners, Yadkin River Keepers and Tourism Recreation Investment Partnership (T.R.I.P.).
