The Denton Public Library will host a free outdoor concert featuring the 208th Army Reserve Band on Thursday, June 26 at 6:00 PM. Community members are invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of patriotic and popular music on the library lawn at 310 W Salisbury Street.

We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence from Britain and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation. But July 4, 1776 wasn’t the day that the Continental Congress decided to declare independence (they did that on July 2, 1776. The “Declaration” was published in papers on July 4.
Come join us for a fantastic firework show on July 3, 2022 at Hughes Park. The gates will open at 5:30pm and cost $5 per car. There will be games/inflatables, music will start at 6pm and fireworks after dark.
