The vehicle was located in Lexington, NC, and was registered to Michael L. Norris of Lexington. A search warrant was executed at Norris’s residence on June 10, 2025, leading to evidence that identified a second suspect, Terry Vanzant, also of Lexington. Investigators also located evidence that the stolen material been cut up and destroyed.
Davidson County Sheriff’s Office at Triad Carports, and Jesse Allen Black was arrested and charged with 25 counts of felonious obtaining property by false pretences.
