The Heroes Center, a High Point-based nonprofit organization, has proven a cutting-edge resource for providing Veterans extensive support, becoming a Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) Chaplain-sponsored organization working with the base’s Transition Assistance Program, and a legally approved support organization for The Wounded Warrior Battalion-East at Camp Lejeune.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with the Heroes Center in meeting this need for our Thomasville community,” says Thomasville Public Library branch manager, Keaton Toney.
“Working with such a prolific organization to provide resources and community for local veterans is something we’re thrilled to bring to the Chair City. Even after their active-duty service, so many veterans continue to support us through our local businesses and institutions; we’re hoping that the connections and resources they find here will not only enrich their lives, but our whole community.
