Downtown Thomasville, NC is alive with the Sound of Music due to ten re-purposed Painted Pianos, and we are throwing a festival to debut them.
Join us on Main Street in Downtown Thomasville, Friday, August 11 from 4-6 pm for the official debut of ten Painted Pianos. Enjoy ten pianists on ten pianos playing theme and variations simultaneously on the same tune, as well as two hours of continuous piano music by more than 25 pianists. Vote on your favorite artwork for $1 per vote. Meet Misses Thomasville from 1962- 2023 as they sign and play a piano dedicated in their honor. Shop discounts in the Downtown shops between 4-6. Enjoy funnel cake, burgers, plain and exotic, and pizza from food trucks.
