Pedestrian killed in Thomasville on National Highway

The Thomasville Traffic Safety Unit is seeking information from the public to find the driver of a 2010 Lincoln Town Car which is responsible for hitting and killing Michael David Baker, 66 of Thomasville at the intersection of National Highway and Fairway Avenue on Friday, November 15th around 7 p.m.

The Lincoln Town Car was traveling south on National Highway near the intersection at Fairway Avenue when Baker, who was traveling west, entered into the path of the car while attempting to cross National Highway.

Baker died at the scene and the driver of the Lincoln was uninjured and is still at large.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Thomasville Traffic Safety Unit, the Thomasville Police Department or call 911.
