Snow falls, drivers encouraged to take caution

As snow falls on Thursday morning forecasters say that this snow is not expected to accumulate significantly.
Most main roads in the Triad area are dry; however, drivers should be vigilant for icy spots on less-traveled roads, bridges and shoulders.
By lunchtime, winds will start to pick up, with gusts reaching 30 to 35 mph. Although high temperatures will hover around freezing, wind chills will remain between 15 and 20 degrees.
On Thursday morning, temperatures in the Triad are in the mid-20s, with a high expected to be around 32 degrees. Most Winter Weather Advisories in the Triad are set to expire by 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
