This Mother’s Day, the Davidson Local team is honoring the women whose strength, love, and faith shape our lives. In Forever Friend, we’re sharing heartfelt tributes like this one—stories of moms who show up, lift us up, and keep us grounded with grace and grit. From quiet sacrifices to unwavering encouragement, these women are the heartbeat of our homes and our communities.
My mom is truly one of the most inspiring and strongest women I know. She gives 100% to everything she does and never fails to be there for me and our family. Whether she’s cheering me on at sporting events, driving me all over town for Scoop videos and DARE events, or staying up late just to offer advice (which I always seem to need), I know I can always count on her.
She wasn’t just my first friend—she’s my best friend and my forever friend. No matter what, she has my back. Even if it’s not always obvious, she’s the glue that holds our family together, constantly showing us how deeply she cares.
But what amazes me most about her is her unwavering faith and dedication to the Lord. Every day, she encourages me to put God first in everything I do. She always reminds me to trust his plan and everything else will work out. It is remarkable how clearly the light of God shines through her.
My family and I love her so much and are endlessly thankful for everything she does.
