Get your free passes from the Davidson County Public Library
The Davidson County Public Library (DCPL) is offering free passes to library cardholders in good standing to use at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro. The DCPL has been offering N.C. Zoo passes for over four years to Davidson County residents. There are also passes available to Kaleideum in Winston-Salem, which is an experiential learning museum for all ages with an array of hands-on exhibits, interactive displays and educational programs that blend science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) disciplines.
The passes are basically checked out the same way that you would do a book and no more than four people across the library system can use a pass in one day, so if you are interested you should call to check availability and to make a reservation.
The Davidson County Public Library system has 5 branches:
Lexington Public Library
Thomasville Public Library
North Davidson Public Library
Denton Public Library
West Davidson Public Library.
In addition, there is also a system wide bookmobile.
Patrons can call or stop by their local branch to reserve the passes, which are first come, first served. For more information, visit the library website at https://www.co.davidson.nc.us/274/Library.
